In earlier times especially the apple was used to show how easy life can end.
An apple that was partly eaten expressed how disposable life really is.
Filiz turns this around by photographing real fruit coated with a choice of colourful fabrics to represent life.
Since she uses fruit in a different context than was done before, we can speak of an evolution of fruit.
